Kurk Homes is proud to announce our double win at the prestigious Texas Association of Builders Star Awards 2024! We are honored to have received awards for Best New Custom Home of the Year and Best Overall Interior Design. 

Founded in 1946, the Texas Association of Builders is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders and is dedicated to creating a positive business environment for the housing industry by addressing the housing issues of Texans. Established in 1992, the Star Awards is the only statewide tribute to excellence in the homebuilding industry, recognizing outstanding work in over 150 categories.

Kurk Homes Awarded Best of Houzz - Design Award for 2024

Hosted annually, Best of Houzz is an awards showcase that celebrates our community's top picks for design and renovation professionals and popular home designs around the world. Winners come in three different categories: design, service, and photography.

The design category, in particular, recognizes professionals whose work inspired the most user engagement and ideabook saves on Houzz. We're proud to have been recognized with the Best of Houzz Design Award for 2024 (and with the Service Award, for the ninth consecutive year - but more about that below)!

BBB Recognizes Kurk Homes as a 2024 Awards for Excellence Winner

This is the thirteenth consecutive year for Kurk Homes to be recognized by the Better Business Bureau for excellence and quality in the workplace.

The Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston and South Texas, presents the Awards for Excellence to organizations (both profit and nonprofit) that demonstrate “excellence and quality in the workplace.”

Texas A&M University recognized Kurk Homes and Chris McGinley as a member of the 2013 Aggie 100 honoring the fastest-growing companies in the world, owned or operated by Texas A&M University former students. Kurk Homes was ranked 48 with a compound annual growth rate of 53% from 2010 through 2012. The Aggie 100, a program created by the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship in Texas A&M University’s Mays Business School, honors graduates from across disciplines for their entrepreneurial endeavors and success as business leaders.
